The master’s thesis is focused on estimation of FAGRON a.s. company value based on the revenue methods of valuation. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts and methods of valuation. Revenue methods of valuation are described in detail and subsequently, they are applied to evaluate the analysed company in the analytical part of the thesis.

The diploma thesis is focused on determining the value of the company PROSEC Ltd. The results of partial analyzes and estimate the financial value will serve the needs of senior management. The company has been operating successfully for several years and its main activity is the sale of security and electrical equipment. The first part is devoted to the theoretical knowledge and on the basis of literature are described concepts, definitions, methods and practices of individual analyzes and determining the value and are used in the practical part. The practical part is a strategic and financial analysis. The value of the company is quantified using selected methods.

The master’s thesis deals with the estimation of the value of the firm using the income capitalization approach, namely the discounted cash flow method and economic value added. The theoretical background is contained in the theoretical part of the thesis. This section is followed by the practical part, in which a strategic and financial analysis, a prognosis of the value drivers, a financial plan, the cost of capital, and finally the valuation of the company itself are carried out.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of determinig the value of the company operating in the automotive industry. The thesis deals with summarizing the theoretical backgrounds, which also explain the methods and procedures that are related to the valuation of economic subjects themselves. The analytical part identifies the company, processes the financial statements and, on the basis of them, creates the prerequisite for a correct numerical representation of the strategic and financial analysis. The valuation itself is part of the final portion, which is based on discounted cash flow and economic value added. Consequently, a summary evaluation of the achieved results for the monitored period 2012 – 2017 is produced.

Business valuation is a challenging and complex process that involves many important steps. This thesis presents the whole valuation process. The theoretical part is focused on the basic vocabulary related to valuation process and the value of a company. The main objective is to characterize the valuation procedures and principles in the selected company and to determine the value of the company as of a certain date requested by the owner. In order to achieve the most accurate value, an analysis of the micro and macro environment in which the company operates is carried out. In the next part of my thesis, a financial analysis informing about the company's financial health was performed. The most important step is forming a financial plan for the next 5 years, which is a necessary component for determining the value of the company using the FCFF method (Free cash flow to the firm).
